Artist Stephen Kull
Featured Artist for November and December
The Freedom Public Library has a rotating art exhibit featuring the work of local artists. During the months of November and December we are pleased to be displaying oil paintings by Stephen Kull of Silver Lake, NH. Mr. Kull is a self-trained artist who began painting at the early age of sixty. The impetus for his first painting was his desire for a big canvas to grace a large, empty wall of his home. Not finding what he wanted at local galleries he decided to paint his own. He bought a book on painting technique, brushes, paints, and a 4 foot by 5 foot canvas and set to work.
Mr. Kull's pieces on display at the library are a colorful and eclectic collection of abstracts, animals, seascapes, landscapes and still lifes. Their variety will be sure to captivate every art lover who views them. Come on in and take a look. You'll be glad you did!
