Title: Early Spring Wildflowers Program
Contact: Elizabeth Rhymer, 603-539-5176
Location: Freedom Public Library
Description: The Friends of the Library presents Guest Speaker Dianne Sinclair with her presentation Early Spring Wildflowers on Tuesday, March 14th at 7 PM at the Freedom Public Library.

Have you ever wondered about those flowers that look like dandelions but show up before the snow is gone? What about those tiny blue flowers that you know are not violets? Come hear wildflower enthusiast Dianne Sinclair from Porter, Maine speak about these flowers and many more.

Dianne has been stalking wildflowers in northern New England since 1988. Her particular passion is spring ephemerals, wildflowers that bloom in the woods before the trees leaf out. Her Power Point presentation will sharpen your knowledge of local wildflowers and will include some curious facts. Did you know that a Jack-in the Pulpit can change its gender?

This program is offered free to the public. Light refreshments will be served.
