Freedom Friends of the Library presents Guest Speaker Jenny Waterhouse of Heavenly Henna  with her workshop “Temporary Henna Tattoos” on Tuesday, January 29th at 6:30 PM, at the Freedom Public Library.
Jenny of Heavenly Henna is excited to bring her 1 hour workshop of temporary Henna Tattoos to us! The workshop begins with short history of how henna has been around since the Pharisees and throughout many different countries during ceremonies. Every student will get a freshly made henna cone & a take-home package with henna powder & instructions to make your own blend! Many prior participants have been worried that they are not artistic, not to worry. You will be amazed at what you will be able to create once you let your soul and mind free to draw. Bring a friend, its fun to practice on each other but not necessary. Hands and forearms will be your canvas for this event. Your beautiful creation will be dry enough for when you are heading home again.
Jenny began her journey of learning temporary henna tattoos 11 yrs. ago as a fun hobby. She began by bringing her unique tattoos & henna paste blends to summer fairs and events. The amazing interaction with the people she shared this with, is a big part of her enjoyment of this gift. Soon into sharing her gift with others at events, she also began to realize the healing that was taking place with people she worked with. Her clients were now able to have healing included, if they so wished, while having a beautiful henna design. Jenny has attained her Reiki Practitioner Certification which brings a unique combination of henna & healing together. After the many years of bringing her henna to fairs & outdoor events, she decided that she had a calling to start teaching others how to create henna tattoos. She now brings her gift to libraries and homes to share with others this fun gift! One of her many favorite parts is the enjoyment she gets to see in her students when they see the henna come alive in wonderful creations they come up with!

This program is offered free to the public by the Friends of the Library. Registration required. For more information 539-5176.            603-539-5176
