Summer Reading 2017
June 18th - August 12thIt's that time of year again!
The Summer Reading program gets underway at the library starting June 18th. Stop by the library to fill out your registration form.
Every week, you'll fill out a reading log, then bring it in to the library. Click here to download a reading log to print out at home. They're also available at the library. There's no reviews required this year, just reading!
Earn raffle tickets for the books and the pages that you read. (E-Books, Audiobooks, and Graphic Novels all count!). If you have summer reading to do for school, that counts, too!

If you read more books than Chris this summer, you'll be entered into a raffle for a super special prize at the end of the summer! Chris's reading list, and reader leaderboards, will be available by Chris's desk.
Free Audiobooks for Summer
Through SYNCSYNC is a free summer audiobook program for teens. Returning April 27 2017, SYNC will give away two complete audiobook downloads a week - pairs of high interest titles, based on weekly themes. Sign up for email or text alerts and be first to know when new titles are available to download.

Dungeons & Dragons - Summer 2017
Earn 3 Summer Reading raffle tickets for attending!Join us for our Summer campaign of Dungeons & Dragons as we face a new threat to our fantasy world: Giants.
We'll provide everything you need to play; if you have your own supplies, feel free to bring them! It's important to try to make every session to keep the story running smoothly, but if you need to miss one or two, just let Chris know ahead of time. Folks are welcome to come to single sessions to watch as well--we might even have a character for you to play!
Saturday, July 1st, from 10am-1pm at the library, we'll get underway with creating the characters that we'll use for this campaign. Pick your race, your class, and develop the backstory of the character you'll play over the next few weeks.

Teen Overnight - Summer 2017
Thursday, July 13, 8:30pm – 9:00amJoin us on July 13th after Teen Night for an overnight adventure in the Library! Bring your sleeping bag, a pillow, toiletries, and get ready for some fun!
We’ll have crafts & games, and a marathon of movies of your choice!
Some snacks will be provided, but bring your favorites to share as well! Vegetarian, dairy- and gluten-free options are good, too!
You must register ahead of time to participate! At least 6 people have to sign up for it to run.
Permission slips are required, and must be turned in by Saturday, July 8th, at 1pm when the Library closes. Forms available at the Library, or click here to download the form.
