Notary Public

The Library Director Elizabeth Rhymer is a notary public. This service is free, but donations to the library are accepted. Please call ahead at 539-5176 to make sure she will be available before you come in.

Interlibrary Loan

Need materials the library does not own?

We can borrow materials from almost every library in the State of New Hampshire, so just because we don't have a title you are looking for doesn't mean we can't find it for you!  Interlibrary Loan is a free service.

The library has an extensive collection of DVDs, but if you are looking for a title we don't own, we will either borrow it from another library for you or use the library's Netflix account to get the movie you want into your hands. All free!

Stop by the circulation desk to make a request, or fill out our Request a Title form.

Books on Wheels

Service to Home-bound Patrons

The Freedom Public Library is pleased to announce our home delivery service, Books on Wheels. This program provides services to Freedom residents who are unable to get to the library due to short/long term illness, physical challenges, visual disabilities, inability to drive, hospitalization or long-term care residence.

Some of the benefits of our Books on Wheels program are personalized visits by a library volunteer, and delivery of materials tailored to your preferences. We can deliver books, movies, magazines, and audio books right to your home.

If you or someone you know would like this service, please call the Freedom Public Library at (603) 539-5176.
