Join Library Board of Trustees Chair Paul Mathieu for outdoor clean up at the library:

We’re looking for a few volunteers to help us with some outdoor maintenance tasks from 1:00 to 3:00pm Tuesday, September 30. 

-If you can help out, please contact us at trustees@freedompubliclibrary.org, or leave a message with the library staff.    

-We’d like to do some outside painting and pull up some invasive plants that are moving onto the property.  Helpers would want to wear clothes they don’t mind getting dirty. 

-We will provide tools and supplies. 

-Painters need not be on ladders if they prefer terra firma. 

-Plant pullers will learn to identify bittersweet vines in different life stages, and how to uproot it to minimize its incursion. 

-Pulling can be difficult at times and will be more comfortable with work gloves on, so bring ‘em if you’ve got ‘em.
