Freedom Public Libary: Summer Reading Program 2025
How It Works
Adult, teen, children and pre-k participants are all welcome to participate!
Pick up your Summer Reading Program folder starting at the Summer Reading Kickoff on June 21st, on Ducky Day!
The program runs from Saturday, June 21-Saturday August, 2.
When you pick up your folder, you’ll receive a certificate for a free kiddie cone at Bobby Sue’s, courtesy of the Friends of the Library, reading logs that correspond to your age group, and information about program offerings.
-Adults and Teens earn 1 ticket for every book read. Earn 1 ticket for every program attended.
-Children earn 1 ticket for every 15 minutes of independent reading. Earn 1 ticket for every program attended.
-Pre-K earn 1 ticket for every book read. Earn 1 ticket for every program attended. Make progress on your 1000 Books Before Kindergarten Goal.
Enter raffle tickets to win prizes throughout the program.
Saturday, August 2rd is the last day to enter raffle tickets!

You’ll have from June 21st – July19th to submit a design for this year’s Bookmark Contest, based on the theme of “Level Up at your Library.” Pick up an entry form at the Library, or download one here. Winners will be chosen the following week. |
